Module 2 Knowledge Check
This assessment checks whether you can connect culture, performance and structure.
Learn screen by screen
The complete lesson is now presented as a guided learning sequence. Move forward when you are ready, listen to each screen, and pause for practice or reflection.

Module 2 Diagnostic Review Sheet — Use evidence to connect behavioural patterns, performance conditions and accountability structures before deciding what should change.
Three diagnostic questions
DOCUMENT OVERVIEW
How can observed behaviour reveal culture?
KEY POINT
How can performance results be shaped by system conditions?
KEY POINT
How can unclear roles and decision rights create operational delay?
- Answer each question using one observable workplace example.
- Separate what can be observed from what is inferred.
- State one piece of evidence that could challenge your explanation.
When accountability is unclear
DOCUMENT OVERVIEW
A service request moves between Operations, Finance and a branch manager because each role believes another person owns the final decision.
KEY POINT
The delay is visible, but the professional diagnosis must examine the decision right, required information, approval threshold and handoff before assigning blame.
- State the observable delay.
- Identify the formal and actual decision owners.
- List the evidence required to confirm where the decision is being held.
- State one structural change that could improve flow without removing necessary control.
Evidence before conclusion
DOCUMENT OVERVIEW
Use the review sequence: OBSERVE → EVIDENCE → PATTERN → CONDITION → DECISION.
KEY POINT
A strong answer explains why the evidence supports the interpretation and identifies what remains uncertain.
- Write one observation.
- Attach supporting evidence.
- State the pattern you believe the evidence suggests.
- State the working condition and the evidence still required.
Apply this lesson in the workplace
Complete the three diagnostic questions and the worked example. Produce a one-page Module 2 Diagnostic Review showing evidence, interpretation, uncertainty and one next investigation.
Leadership challenge
Explain to a manager why a performance problem should not automatically be treated as an individual capability problem until system conditions have been examined.
What good work looks like
Answers should distinguish culture, performance and structure while showing how the three can interact. Claims should remain evidence-led and provisional where facts are incomplete.
Knowledge check
Complete the graded assessment when the course is ready for final assessment.
